MES-CoBraD Platform

Introducing the MES-CoBraD Platform: Revolutionizing Complex Brain Disorder Management

The MES-CoBraD platform stands as a beacon of innovation in the realm of healthcare technology. Dynamic, multidimensional, and modular, it's more than just a platform—it's a comprehensive solution designed to transform the landscape of diagnostic accuracy and therapeutic outcomes for individuals battling Complex Brain Disorders (CoBrads).

The MeS–CoBraD platform is available to users through a website where users simply login and have access to the whole functionality without needing to install any additional software.

The platform itself is split into 4 distinct modules that make up the whole platform.

EDGE Platforms

The edge platforms are situated in each partner doctor or researcher that participates in the project. From these doctors and researchers can both upload their data in the platform and download the results of their research. The MES-CoBraD platform also offers the ability to researchers to capture and import questionnaires from patients to the platform in specific formats compatible with well-established applications such as Redcap.

MES-CoBraD Database

The MES-CoBraD Database contains information from all participating partners, that has first been anonymized and is available for sharing with other researchers.

Workflow Manager

The workflow manager provides to researcher a semi-automated manner to conduct clinical and research testing. Each test conducted first needs to be split into different functions and associated each part with one of the analytics functions. Through this the whole process is known to the platform and the user can easily run the same testing again and again with different data in a semi-automated manner, with minimal manual input required after the initial setup.

Data Analytics

The Data Analytics modules provide the everything needed to run the tests themselves, both software and hardware. These functions are split roughly into four different categories.

EEG: This functions are related to EEG information usually originating from EDF files. These functions incorporate functionalities from libraries such as MNE, EDFBrowser and additional custom tailor made functions based on the needs of the users not easily accessible elsewhere such as an EEG with Back Averaging technique.

MRI : The functions related to various MRI use Nifty and DICOM files as inputs incorporate functionalities from libraries such as : Freesurfer, Freeview , GGSeg.

Analytics : The analytics functions handle anything else that may come up during research. Here any functions related to statistical analysis can be found and used. Data are usually provided in tabular format and many different statistical analysis libraries are used.

AI : The AI module leverages advanced machine learning techniques and can handle many of the previous type of input.

The libraries and tools needed are already installed and easily accessible through a custom made UI where needed.
